The vest i spent well above a year getting finished is done at last. I’ve even fastened the threads:
Extremely pleased with myself, and will make more of this. Prfereably in thicker yarn, and longer in the body.
I’ve started a new project as well:
The recipe is from garnstudio, and I am in love with the yarn. Even I can’t become impatient knitting on nr 8 needles.

I started a vest during easter, and will try to get it done by october 7th:
Eva’s hat is coming along nicely, but it is very large! If it doesn’t fit the head of my ex boyfriend, I will have to frog it. And i hate frogging. I’ve started another one for myself, in black alpaca.

On the left is a detail of the finished vest. I am quite happy with it, it turned out more chunky than I imagined, but still very fluffy. I am sure I will use it a lot!
I have now started on a birthday present for a friend – I will remember to take a picture before giving it away this time. I am making a red scarf all in double crochet, with a very chunky yarn called Alfa. It is amazingly soft, and the most perfect colour. I plan on making a little flower pin as well, which will be my first! I’m off to find recipes now…
